Conclusion

Once Upon A Time is a show bursting with religious symbols. An apple, multiple resurrections, a savior and a dark one (sin), the Holy Grail is even in some of the new episodes. Interestingly the show uses Excalibur as a broken sword and the piece that is broken off is what makes up the Dark Ones Dagger. Though many of the Christian reviewers worry that the show puts too much emphasis on human true love, the show actually portrays 'True Love' as something more powerful than basic human love. Regular kisses in the show do not magically fix every problem the characters face, it is only when the situation is beyond saving in any other way will True Love solve anything.
